Seattle University, a Fiske Guide "Best Buy" and U.S. News and World Report "Best Colleges of 2012," is located in a vibrant neighborhood, not far from downtown Seattle. Primarily a residential campus, students are able to make use of the Arts, restaurants and service opportunities of this exciting city.
University dorms and facilities and the Chapel are beautiful architecturally. Many buildings are new, environmentally green, or newly updated. When walking up the main pathway, large trees provide shade, with flowers and grassy knolls for color.
The incredible campus is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of urban life, yet fully part of Seattle at the same time. The focus of the Jesuit education is community, social justice and academic excellence. Leadership and independence are encouraged.
Majors include arts and sciences, economics and management, nursing, sciences and engineering, and the humanities.
