Nancy Wigley, M.A., M.S.

Independent College Counselor

Nancy Wigley started her college search consulting business in 2008 after successfully helping her own children find a college. She holds the UCLA Certificate in College Counseling that included classes on the college admissions process, personality/career and standardized testing, financial aid, and other special issues. The courses culminated in an internship with a local private Catholic high school working with students from California's Bay Area, China, Korea, Japan and Europe.

Nancy is a professional member of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), the Independent Educational Consultants of America (IECA), the National Association for College Admission Counselors (NACAC), the Western and Pacific Northwest regional Associations for College Admission Counselors (WACAC and PNACAC). She subscribes to the NACAC Code of Ethics and Professional Practices. Annual attendance at regional and national conferences, as well as visiting 30-50 colleges each year through in person college visits and webinars with admissions reps, keeps her up-to-date with latest trends, expectations and requirements of the college application and admission process.

She has extensive, first-hand experience with NCAA Division I recruited athletes, Division III and Club sports, especially, water polo, football and equestrian.

Nancy's educational background includes 2 masters' degrees(Psychology and Audiology), a bachelor's in Communication Disorders and a certificate in Marketing and Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM).

In addition to being the mother of 2 adult sons, Nancy has traveled throughout the U.S., Europe and South America. She studied at the International School of Geneva, Switzerland for all 4 years of high school. She has been in commercials and movies, onstage with local theater, and sung professionally for the past 20 years at private events. Her secret dream is to be on Broadway...but we digress...
